How it works

1. Concentration
We divide the amount in the vial by the volume of diluent you added. That gives you the concentration in each milliliter.

2. Volume per dose
We divide your target dose by the concentration. That gives you the volume (in mL) for a single injection.

3. Units on the syringe
An insulin syringe is marked in units, not milliliters. 1 mL = 100 units, 0.5 mL = 50 units, 0.3 mL = 30 units. We convert your volume to the correct unit mark.
